Events

Young Professionals of Greater Lowell know how to work hard and play hard. A YPGL networking event is the perfect opportunity to relax and meet people outside of the office. You probably already know many faces in the room, but the YPGL philosophy is that the best networking happens when you meet people in a relaxed social atmosphere. Past events have taken place at Caffe Paradiso, the hospitality suite at DJ Reardon, and the Tewksbury Country Club. Make sure to sign up to receive email invitations to all of the YPGL events.

In addition to networking events, YPGL hosted a speaker event in 2006 featuring former General Electric CEO Jack Welch. This event was attended by more than 1,000 people.

Did you know you can add an event to our event calendar? It's easy and quick. Just fill out a form and when we approve your event for viewing, it will show up on our website.

Jeff Taylor
Recognized as an innovator and visionary in both the Internet and career industries, Taylor has reinvented the way job hunters seek employment. His "monster idea," conceived at the dawn of the World Wide Web, quickly became one of the first dot-com companies and has since become the world's leading online career site. In 2005, Taylor again harnessed the power of the Internet by launching Eons.com, an innovative media company challenging a generation of boomers and seniors to live the fullest life possible.

Patrick Kuhse
Patrick Kuhse went from being a successful stockbroker with a loving family and home in the suburbs of San Diego, to the jungles of Costa Rica as an international fugitive, to incarceration in two countries and back again. After spending four years in prison, he now devotes himself to speaking to audiences worldwide about the importance of ethical behavior.
